I can't skate

Written by Rex Allchurch
Loved being out in the skate park last night sharing stories of God's greatness to a bunch of kids who have never met Him.

It all rested on one sentence.

Written by Rex Allchurch
I had a great time worshiping the Lord at the Go Church in Horsham with Gary and Joyce Jenkins, the highlight for me was this: As the meeting drew to a close I knew that I had yet to fulfill my full purpose for that meeting, I knew that there was something I was still to do. People often mistake me in these moments for being tired or not with it, when in fact I'm starring into the distance desperately seeking God's voice, who is it, what is it... surely you don't want me to dance again... those sort of thoughts. Finally out of the corner of my eye I see this person and God give's me just one sentence, a sentence that to anyone else would probably sound odd. I go on over and say what I believe He is saying and this person breaks down in pieces, "wow" several friends prayer on with this person. Afterwards they came to find me to let me know that they only came to this meeting today because they were desperate to hear from God about a specific situation, a situation that nobody had prayed for and she didn't want to say it to anyone. God heard her prayer, as He always does, thank you Lord with trusting me to be involved in your answer.
There is something so very beautiful about seeing God touch somebodies life, right in that moment there was healing, healing for a hurt that some people could carry for a life time, Jesus took it in a moment.
This Sunday I'll be back in prison, finally getting to minister with my long standing friend Nick Harding again, he is now the Chaplin at the prison, yippee.

Sunday 1st Jan in America

Written by Rex Allchurch
My wife and I and our two lovely girls had the pleasure of being involved with the Cornerstone Church in Johnson City TN, USA at the very start of the year.
We were treated with such love and honour, this church is the first I ever had the opportunity to minister at in the states and there will always be a soft spot in my heart for this loving group of Christ like people. They hunger and seek after Jesus daily and not just for their Sunday mornings. I love the expectancy they have for God to do something great.
I shared some stories of amazing truths of God's affectionate displays of love in my life and of those He has brought me in to relationship wtih and sang some songs of adoration, afterwards I had an opportunity to speak with a handful as I felt directed giving prophetic words...
It may sound strange but I am continually amazed that God would use someone like me, why would He choose to give me insight and divine appointments in peoples lives, it's so humbling. I love seeing our God at work. I often have no idea what it is God is having me do until I find myself in that moment, and even then it doesn't always make sense. It's afterwards upon returning to such places that you get to see the fruit and the outworking of God's plan and how He graciously fitted you in. I can't go into the personal story of other peoples lives but from what they have told me God has truly saved lives in the Cornerstone Church.
I look forward to enjoying the gospel with ya'll again soon.
Another amazing time at the detention center. Nick led a time of worship and we all raised the roof, dancing and singing our praise to God. As the meeting went on more and more people flooded in. I got up to speak and shared a few stories and then backing up what I was saying about God being interested in them on a personal level I gave some key words of knowledge into their lives, one I had seen in a dream previously, one I had been given a description of before arriving and one... this is strange, I had smelt before, yes I had a word and a smell with it. I figured when I smelt this person again I would know who it was for, and sure enough a man sat in front of me and he smelt just like what I had smelt several days ago. Amazing. Needless to say many responded when I invited them to start a journey into relationship following Jesus, I actually got around to counting this time and it was 22! Yay God.

"Go" Church "Go"

Written by Rex Allchurch
So another glorious time over in Horsham. This time the power of God fell during exuberant praise and worship. It was very messy, the room was bouncing with bodies as people encountered the power of God some for the very first time. A few prophetic words and about 2 hours of non stop praise, we only stopped because we had to.
It's been a busy few weeks.

We had a fantastic time at the prison/detention center praising our wonderful Father and by His grace got to join in with about 25 people deciding to step into a journey of following Jesus for the rest of their lives.

Over in Horsham things have been getting better and better at the Go Church planted by Gary and Joyce Jenkins, so excited to be involved with this group of people. Seeing drug addicts, homeless people and people with more money than I think I will ever have, gathering together, some don't know why they have turned up, some just want refuge but all seem to encounter the magnificent love of God and leave changed.

A bit closer to home in Havant with the Portsdown Community Church the presence of God has been so evident in every meeting I just don't want them to end! I've been welcomed by this expression of the body so amazingly, the worship leader even came round with dinner for us and hoovered our living room, such an incredible group of people and so desperate for God to have His way, I love being a part of all that is happening right on my door step.

Over in Farnham with a long standing friend and Youth Pastor for Vineyard Chris Kent we saw the launch of a new youth event drawing several churches together in the community, already lives transformed, physical and emotional healing and lives being given to God. And finally but not least, back up in Leatherhead with Pioneer Engage Church, so great to be ministering with them again, a great bunch on the edge of much more than they have ever seen before, exciting days ahead.

More people saved now than ever before.

Written by Rex Allchurch

I feel honored and blessed to be a part of the move of God that is happening at this time. We must have seen over 100 rededicating or making first time commitments to the Lord in the last few months during our monthly prison visits. I only wish we could capture some of the goings on so that whilst reading this you could catch a glimpse of what we get be a part of, sadly no audio or visual equipment can be taken in, but I'd love to record a live album there.
